December is National Safe Toys & Gifts Month, Featuring: Santa's Little Hackers!

Besides the widely celebrated holidays of December, this month also features multiple health awareness days including World AIDS Day on December 1st and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd.  Additionally, December is also fittingly recognized as National Safe Toys and Gifts Month, an initiative to raise awareness of toy safety and to remind individuals to consider the appropriate age range of the toys they are planning to gift to children throughout the holiday season.

Did you know? - Every year, hundreds of thousands of children present to Emergency Department throughout the country with toy-related injuries?  Ensure that the toys you gift this holiday season don't jeopardize the health and safety of the children in your life.

For this month, here at Quick 12 we are excited to announce that we have decided to raise money for an adaptive toy drive for children with disabilities through an event called Santa's Little Hackers.  This annual toy drive event is made possible by a Colorado-based 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation called ModMax, which is chartered to 'make the world accessible for all' by identifying adaptations and modifications to make the world work for individuals living with disabilities.  ModMax has been hosting this annual adaptive toy drive since its inception in 2014, providing countless children and adults with limited fine motor skills and physical abilities with toys that have been altered for use by individuals living with disabilities.

Help us support Santa's Little Hacker's upcoming adaptive toy drive by either directly donating to the on their Facebook Page, Website, or indirectly through a purchase of a Q12 Santa "Cause" Long Sleeve here on our online store all month long!
