American Heart Month

February is National Heart Month

Did you know that heart disease, a preventable condition for many, continues to be the greatest threat to the health of Americans. Further, heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, according to the AHA's Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics – 2021 Update.

Big shout out to all of our cardiology caregiver supporters!  You all are clearly busy people in the medical world dealing with the most prevalent life-threatening conditions in America.  We appreciate all that you do to protect the hearts of our patients!

The month of February is dedicated to acknowledging the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to promote the wellbeing of your heart and cardiovascular system.  Making small impactful changes in the way that you eat, hydrate, and prioritize exercise can make drastic differences in the quality of your life in the long run.  Make sure you take a little time out of your busy schedule this month to make sure that you're giving your heart the love it deserves.

For this month, Quick 12 a portion of our proceeds from our monthly featured shirt will be donated directly to the American Heart Association.  For nearly the past 100 years, this organization has been striving to save and improve lives by fighting heart disease and stroke.  You can learn more about the AHA, as well as ways to get CPR certified, learn better stress management, exercise tips, or heart-healthy recipes on their website: https://www.heart.org/en/
